Build your first Y-Active and automate your wealth strategy

Quick Start Guide

Getting started with Ynves (ynves.to) takes less than 2 minutes. Let’s walk through building your first Y-Active and setting up your wealth cockpit.

Step 1: Create your Account

  1. Click “Get Started” on the homepage.
  2. Sign up securely with your email.
  3. Verify your email address.
  4. Welcome! You are ready to start growing.

Step 2: Build Your First Y-Active

A Y-Active is your target portfolio cockpit. You can build multiple Y-Actives for different financial goals (e.g., “The Engine - Growth Portfolio”, “Emergency Cash”, “Future Horizon”).

  1. In the sidebar navigation, click Y-Actives.
  2. Click the + (Plus) icon in the Y-Actives side list.
  3. Configure your Y-Active settings:
    • Name: Choose an empowering, action-oriented name (e.g. “The Engine - Growth Portfolio”).
    • Base Currency: Pick your target consolidation currency (e.g., USD, EUR, BRL). All historical asset values, transactions, and performance metrics will automatically convert and display in this currency.
  4. Click Build Y-Active.

Step 3: Record Your First Transaction

Your Y-Active is a dynamic ledger driven by your transaction history.

  1. Select your newly created Y-Active and stay on the default Overview dashboard.
  2. On the Ledger & Returns card, switch to the Transactions tab.
  3. Click the Add Transaction button.
  4. Enter your trade details:
    • Date & Time: When the order executed.
    • Ticker: The asset symbol (e.g., AAPL, MSFT, SPY). We search real-time global directories to fetch asset details.
    • Action: Choose Buy (to add shares/units) or Sell (to reduce shares/units).
    • Quantity: The number of units or shares (supports fractional shares).
    • Price: The execution price per unit in the asset’s currency.
    • Fees: Any transaction fee or commission.
    • FX Rate: If the asset is traded in a currency different from your Y-Active’s base currency, input the exchange rate at the transaction date to keep your ledger accurate.
  5. Click Record Transaction. Your Y-Active’s Net Asset Value (NAV) and metrics will recalculate instantly!

Step 4: Define Target Weights

A systematic investor is a successful investor. Establish your strategic asset allocation by setting targets.

  1. Navigate to the Y-Nexus tab of your Y-Active.
  2. Under the rebalancing ledger table, enter the Target Weight (%) for each active asset.
  3. Ensure your target weights sum to exactly 100%.
  4. Click Save Targets to lock in your allocation model.

Step 5: Review Theoretical Actions & Y-Nexus Confluence

As market prices fluctuate, your portfolio’s actual weights will drift from your targets. Rather than prompting standard mechanical rebalancing, Ynves overlays mathematical calculations with market momentum and quality metrics.

  1. Navigate to the Y-Nexus tab.
  2. Review the calculated Drift for each asset.
  3. Check the Theoretical Action column. The planner calculates the exact transaction quantities (Buy or Sell) required to re-align your portfolio.
  4. Review the consolidated Y-Nexus Confluence recommendation badge (such as Accumulate, Let Run, Postpone Buy, or Trim / Sell). This confluence checks technical momentum (Y-Optics Vector) and quality scores (Y-VQS) to prevent you from buying into falling knives or prematurely selling high-quality winners.
  5. Want to optimize? Run the Y-Nexus Bounds (MPT) simulator on the Y-Nexus tab to automatically find the Safest (Minimum Variance) or Most Efficient (Maximum Sharpe Ratio) allocations, and apply them as your new target weights with a single click.
